In
a bid to achieve its goals and improve on performance, the Land Transport
Authority has engaged the services of Human Resource Consulting Firm Maxumise to
review its current Annual Corporate Plan (ACP).
The ACP, which represents the Authority’s goals, objectives and plans over the
next three years, was prepared through consultation with LTA’s customers,
stakeholders and staff.
LTA
Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Naisa Tuinaceva said the Authority is moving
towards performance and it is imperative that an external assessor check its
plans to ensure the Authority is heading in the right direction.
“At LTA, it is all about improvements and achieving results and that is why Maxumise
has been hired to audit our performance in accordance with the ACP and provide
guidance,” offered Mr. Tuinaceva.
He added that the Authority wants to be strategic, focused and structured in
its work.
“LTA as an organization is being easily targeted by the public and we are
mindful of that because we are here to serve the people of Fiji and solve their
problems,” said Mr. Tuinaceva.
“We want to see whether we are making the right moves in everything we do and
this independent assessment will assist us to remain on the right path.”
It will take Maxumise three months to complete the assessment and present its
findings to the Authority.
