New/Renewal Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Must be a registered business (possess registration certificate)
  2. Must be tax compliant
  3. The proposed premises must be NFA and OHS certified
  4. Must have a valid tenancy agreement (for tenants only)
  5. Must have a valid insurance cover (public liability insurance)
  6. Must have a foreign investment certificate (for foreign investors only)
  7. Must employ on fulltime basis qualified and experienced welders/fabricators
  8. Any additional conditions LTA may require.

*All Renewal ​Applications must be submitted to the LTA at least three months prior to the expiration of the current accreditation validity period.

 

Certified copies of the following are to be submitted with an application letter from the company to LTA:

  1. Business registration certificate from the relevant Authority
  2. Valid FRCS compliance certificate
  3. Valid OHS certificate for the proposed premises from the relevant Authority
  4. Valid NFA certificate for the proposed premises from the relevant Authority
  5. Valid tenancy agreement (for tenants only)
  6. Valid insurance cover (public liability insurance)
  7. Foreign investment certificate (for foreign investors only)
  8. CV’s and qualifications of fulltime employees that will be carrying out welding/fabrications works.

*Incomplete applications will not be considered.
