How to Obtain a Class 7 Learners Permit

In order to obtain a Full Driver Licen​ce for Class ​7, you will need to first obtain a Learners Permit for Class ​7. Below are the relevant processes that you need to follow in order to successfully apply for a Learners Permit for Class ​7. 

Pre–requisites (Prior Condition before Application)

1. Applicant Must have a valid Driver license and class 5 or class 6 licenses for more than 1 year
2. Applicants age should be greater than and equal to 18 years of age
3. Application is assessed over the counter
4. No pending overdue fines

Checklist (What to bring)

1. Application for Learners Permit Form
2. Valid Full License
3. Supporting documents (if applicable) for updating client details

Process for Obtaining a Learners Permit

1. Fill in Learners Permit Application Form:
Obtain and complete the Learners Permit application form online or at the LTA office. Click Here to Download Application for Learners Permit Form

2. Submit Learners Permit Application: 
Submit the completed Learners Permit application form over the counter.

3. Update Application and Pay Fee: 
Once the application is updated in the system, pay the application fee.

4. Take Learners Permit Test: 
You will be referred for the Learners Permit test.

5. Issuance of Learners Permit Card:
Upon passing the Learners Permit test, proceed to the counter to pay for and receive your Learners Permit card.
