Land Transport Authority of Fiji allows overseas driver’s license to be converted to Fiji driver’s license. This applies to countries where the driver sits on the right side of the vehicle and the vehicle is driven on the left side of the road.
Checklists (What to bring)
- Take with you your original birth certificate or Passport.
- ID card if birth certificate is not presented.
- Translation Letter (If primary language in your country is not English).
- Carry with you your Overseas Driver’s License.
- Proof of Tax Identification Number.

Process
- Fill in the application form (you can get this form online or at LTA’s office).
- Submit the application form together with the checklist (as mentioned above) to the Customer Service Officer (CSO).
- Once the CSO has updated your application in the system, you will need to pay the Fees.
- Note: Depending on the type of your overseas drivers, you will get the Fiji License. Customer service officer will explain to you if you need to undergo driving test.
- After paying your fees, go to the card printing office and get your card printed.
