The Land Transport Authority of Fiji allows overseas driver licences to be converted to Fiji Driver Licence. This applies to countries where the driver sits on the right side of the vehicle and the vehicle is driven on the left side of the road.
Checklist (What to bring)
- Original Birth Certificate or Valid Passport.
- Valid ID card if birth certificate is not presented.
- Translation Letter (If primary language in your country is not English).
- Valid Overseas Driver Licence
- Proof of Tax Identification Number.
- Authenticity/Confirmation of your Driver Licence details from your country's Issuing Authority.

Process
- Fill in the application form (you can get this form online or at any LTA Office).
- Submit the application form together with the checklist (as mentioned above) to the Customer Service Officer (CSO).
- Once the CSO has updated your application in the system, you will need to pay the Fees.
- Note: The type of Overseas Driver Licence you possess will determine your eligibility for a Fiji Licence. A customer service officer will provide guidance on whether you are required to undergo a driving test.
- After paying your fees, go to the card printing office and get your card printed.
