All vehicles operating on Fiji’s roads must be registered with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Fiji.
With over 150,000 vehicles currently registered as of 31st July 2024, the LTA is committed to upholding proper standards and procedures to ensure road safety and compliance.
Under Part IV of the LTA Act, Section 49(1), it is required that all motor vehicles and trailers, whether for use on public roads or private property, must be registered with the LTA.
Additionally, all motor vehicles must comply with regulations regarding construction, equipment, dimensions, and load capacity, as applicable to their specific class or category.
