How to Renew Your Learners Permit

If your Learner's Permit has expired, you can renew it to continue learning to drive and take the driving test. The Land Transport Authority facilitates the renewal of expired Learner's Permits, provided you follow the required procedures. To renew your permit, you must provide evidence of having taken at least one driving test. If no such evidence is available, a formal request letter for the renewal of the Learner's Permit will be required.

Pre–requisites (Prior Condition before Application)

  1. Your Learners Permit should be expired.

Checklist (What to bring)

  1. You need to write a letter to the Authority requesting to renew your Learners Permit.
