Among the graduates is the Authority’s first ever female Manager Standards and Engineering, Ms. Makitalena Drova who has added another feather in her cap: she has successfully completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (General Management).

The other graduates include Team Leader Standards and Engineering Thomas Kishore, Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering); Engineer Razik Khan, Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical);

Senior Technical Officer Samuela Rokocakau, Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronics);

Assistant Technical Officer Nomneet Chand Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronics);

Technical Officer Vadan Padiachy Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) and

Technical Officer Marika Kaitani Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronics).

LTA Chief Executive Officer Mr. Naisa Tuinaceva congratulated the staff on their achievements and wished them well in their careers.

“The Authority
proudly congratulates these staff on this significant accomplishment in their careers and we are confident they will continue to be significant assets to our organization,” remarked Mr. Tuinaceva.

Mr Tuinaceva added that the Authority is happy to invest in the professional growth of staff as employee aspiration cannot solely be satisfied by working for a driven and successful organization.

“All of us want to learn and grow in our field, so we can develop and eventually do our jobs better and that is why we encourage our staff to continue with higher education and become fully armed with the most up-to-date knowledge,” said Mr. Tuinaceva.

LTA offers award courses to its staff which basically means that the Authority reimburses education fee once staff successfully complete a Certificate, Diploma or Degree course.
