The Land Transport Authority is currently training
police traffic officers around the country to search driver records and perform
relevant data entry on LTA’s new online database system, LTASOFT.
With the new system in place, the police traffic department will be able to
manage the following information on the online database rather than travelling
to the nearest LTA office to seek assistance:
1. Traffic Infringement Notice (TIN) search using driver identification
2. TIN search using TIN serial number
3. TIN search using TIN issue dates or TIN offence
dates
4. TIN search using TIN status or combination of two as above
5. Registration of issued TIN details
6. Making of TIN defective
7. Updating court details
Meanwhile, the Authority will be deploying the phase
two of its online LTASOFT system feature by feature, shortly. The online
services will include:

booking and Payment for Inspection
2. Online
Tin Payments
3. PSV
online permit application
4 Prepare
for DDC online
5. Book
for DDC online
6. Online
LP application
7. Registering
of vehicles online by AMVD’s; and many other features
