1.Purpose
To connect with local customers and stakeholders to enhance the standing and professionalism of local LTA Branch Managers in creating an improved awareness of LTA advice, guidance and services delivered through the local Branch Network.
2.Meet the Manager Sessions
These will be organised in every LTA Branch Office throughout Fiji
The meetings will be open house lasting no more than 2 hours where customers and local stakeholders can come along and discover what the LTA can do for them in the Branches and where stakeholders can discuss local issues.
The ground rules are:
A forum for LOCAL issues to be discussed.
Advice is given professionally and completely in line with settled policies
Branch Managers will:
-encourage positive suggestions from Customers and Stakeholders
-enquire how the Branch Services could be improved and take seriously all credible suggestions
-discuss some of the more obscure transactions that are dealt with at Branches such as modifications to vehicles and the pre-approval process that must be undertaken by customers before any modifications are carried out.
-encourage customers to confidentially provide factual information about illegal PSV or Trucking activities – customers live in the community and will know of things that happen locally.
-enquire about the LTA staff Service Delivery in the Branch about waiting times and doing business generally in the Branch – taking note of the suggestions and comments and always act upon them to improve, improve, improve.
-·obtain customer contact details so that Branch Managers can give and receive feedback
-keep a note of all the local issues that have been raised during the “Meet the Manager” sessions and the follow up actions that have taken to address the issues.
-following the “Meet the Manager” sessions that have finished publish the feedback in the local Branch Office for customers generally and those who visited the sessions and the feedback will appear on Social Media.
We want to see as many of our customers turning up and availing of the opportunity to meet the local LTA Manager.
