Minibus fares have NOT increased anywhere in Fiji. Minibus Fares are “regulated” this means they are under regulatory control.
The message from the Authority to Customers is very simple:
- Minibus fares have not increased
- If you are asked by drivers to pay a higher fare – refuse to do so and report the driver/vehicle & route details to the LTA on Text 582.
- The LTA will be issuing Traffic Infringement Notices (TIN’s) to any driver/operator charging unauthorized fares.
